Fantastic Art, but not much of a Flash

Its OK but not yet great.

Its got great visual characters- you could make so much of this. It could be a NewGrounds hit.

These guys could be so funny with a bit of character developed in them.

I can hardly put my finger on when to go with this, but please do work on it. Brainstom woth your frineds, get as much feedback as you can.
As it is it doesn't have real story and timing of the movement is dull, but go for it.

Chizem responds:

I promise you that i will make more and they will be better than this, because i will have more time, thanks.

good stuff.

Please make the other two longer. this one is OK for a start but we didn't really have time to get into it.

Looking forward a good bit of story. Please make sure it has some originality.
Put in some background sounds-
As you write the story it should have quite moments to contrast the action and drama. If you think about it all the good stories from Lord of the Rings through Star Wars -everything- all have a break in them. The hero rests somewhere with a bit of tranquil music, scenery and birdsong or something.
Also, if you have the patience to aim for a top class story, try to develop a couple of characters. Maybe see the court back home discussing what is happening- what if the warrior never returns- this makes the audience care more about the consequence and feel involved.
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with this intro part as it is. I just want to encourage you to make it the best that you can.

CrimsonGenesis responds:

thank you for the review. the reason this one was short was because the deadline slaped us in the face lol. then next two will have more detail and scenery and stuff.

Quite good, then you annoyed me.

speakonia stuff and characters that bounce without flexing, just to save real animation don't impress me all that much, but it had potential. The glimmer of a good story etc.
Then I got sutck in this loop with a lilac coloured corner going up the hill.

If you had just run up the hill a while, then faded to CREDITS I might have protected it.
The song should be properly credited, both in the Flash and with the proper BUY button before it.

Pawesome responds:

I seem to care so much that my movie is getting a better rating than both "movies" you've ever made. HAHAHAHHAHAHABHAHBHAHAHADHABS HJABHS

One of the better ones.

Same old pictures we have been seeing for days, mostly, but a better choice of music than most, in my oppinion. Nice choice of font and I like the smoothly expanding letters at the end.

Its all in the detail.

Popesture responds:

Thank you

good, funny

Make Palpatine look better- use his laugh. That would push this up higher.

TheChums responds:

Thanks.

C'est tres bon

et interesant. Je suis certain que votre anglais est plus bon que mon francais!

Thank you for translating it for us. It was good practice for us just to listen to some french.
The film was good quality in all respects. Do more!
Merci beaucoup

medoukali-vincent responds:

thank you !!

si si, ton français est bon ^^.

I am an E

As the main spokesman for the Dragons & Spirits I am always an E.

I urge all Dragons & Spirits to be E's

However, there is no use trying to criticise the F's as long as you have the outspoken policy of fifen to all movies with clocks in.
You, as a perceptive person, know that clocks are not really that numerous or powerful- despite B- you rely on the stat whores assuming you guys will all fifen on Clock day.

I saw this on Clock day and I thought it was very perceptive and well put together. Today I have just seen your new one and I enjoyed that too- you will see my little review.

For what it is worth I will remain an E, so you can expect me to protect any of your movies of the same quality you have so far produced.
Best Wishes,
IceDragon of the Dragons & Spirits

BinaryClock responds:

I respect your opinion but feel that your review was rather wordy and boring, now matter how correct it was.

Thanks for the asdf.

Simple but effective

I thought it was somehow perceptive.
It had amusing detail

I like the binary clock.

BinaryClock responds:

I like the me too.

Thanks for the asdf.

OK

I guess it had something of the feel of Tankmen to it.

the flips the tank did were a nice touch.

where did you get the sounds from? Was the clapping from Windows?

fadedshadow responds:

i got my sounds from flashkit.com and findsounds.com and others were from dusty_gorilla

Looks good

way ahead of me in graphics, although walking action still needs work. If you can crack that it will be easily up in the 8/10 level for me.

I like the rear view mirror effect.

spelling etc:
earth/Earth
Newyork/New York

NHT123 responds:

thank you, but the walking really was supposed to be robotic like that. That character after all was a robot as shown when it went to X-Ray mode.

Was in the Dragon & Spirit Alliance. My DS Halloween & Christmas Quizzes are in the 2006 Collections. I am the main organiser on Wikigrounds, though I don't spend much time either there or here these days. I am a writer in the Monthly Writing and VACcomps
