Like it!

sweet & fun. Makes me think of my lovely girlfriend!

Nice animation/pics Fun ideas. Sound good. Lip sync good but not great- some of it looked like he was saying something completely different, but hey, lip sync is very hard and it always goes wrong for me. Irritating tiny white line on the right. Otherwise, fine.

Scrambledheggs responds:

ya there are some parts i agree i probably should have paid a little more attention too, but heck it gets the idea across right? anyway thanks for the good review

Simple...

...but effective! I like it and it made me smile. Its neat, clear, and to the point. I like the voices/sound/music and the images were simple but suitable.

Needs a replay button and credits in the movie.

Not bad

in fact, quite good. some good art and animation. expression good. Sound OK.

Better to have a stop/replay. Credits too quick. slight exposure of underneath layers on the right hand side. Always know where your edge is.

By the way, out there. The toadstool above ground is just like a flower- the rest of it is still alive underground, so don't worry about picking some, its not a tragedy at all!

I was SO going to blam this...

... but then I thought it was kinda cute and creative.

I like the whole idea. Hope you do more with these characters.

TGCRed responds:

Haha, thanks! X3 The Hatgirl is me so I'll definitely do more with her ^_^ and if Raccoon does more stuff with me for school he'll be back too! Thanks for your kindness : D

Got potential

Obviously it is hard to do some kind of animation about dancing to Dragostea Din Tea that is original and since you just picked up a pile of dancing bits from the internet, originality was not what you were going for.

However, it was a bit of fun; you did find and use a lot of different dancers and we do have a special place in our hearts for Numa Numa on NG.

The potential would come if you:
* did something fun and interesting with the backgrounds.
* You could use more of the screen instead of just the top left side.
* You could add a couple of sequences of your own made of Newgrounds characters.
* You could even get hold of the Inappropriate dancer that the early Clock Crew movies used- which would reel in some old time CC support for the laughs.
* Try talking to the Review Club, admitting that it isn't great , but saying that you might redo it better if the ideas seem right.
*Preloader, even if it doesn't need it. Always
* Credits of some sort IN THE MOVIE. Always.
* Stop/replay button . Always

Also, never criticise reviewers for their writing skills. You put your work up for view/review- they are doing that for you. They are not asking for their reviews to be criticised, by showing your work here, you are. Even if their work is negative, it is still an evaluation of your work and may provide much-needed info.

JabberWocky responds:

I really hate this flash. A lot...heh. I didn't even notice that the sprites were confined to that damn corner 'til it was too late. And I would definitely fix it, don't get me wrong...but my computer was a bitch and ate all my flash files. :|

simple

Not very much to it, but what there is is OK. Its got sound, animation, a moment of story, a replay button- whats not to like?

The tiny animation is actually OK and the sounds are OK. I hope you will go on to produce stuff which is a little more engaging and absorbing, but for now, 4/10 is a reasonable start (better than my first!)

Nova1Duke responds:

i did not understand what you just said but i think that what you said was a complement :)

Not much to it

I don't think much of using the Portal for this purpose, plus which voice is best depends on the circumstances. I t depends on what kind of character you are protraying.

The animation is simple but OK. The sound is quite clear.

Not too bad

It is very hard to follow at that speed, and of course, it is a shaggy dog story, so it wasn't worth following, but hey, its a Clockday sub and it could be a lot worse.

If it had pix about the story and/or subtitles, I would have rated it higher.

Auz responds:

Thanks.

I could've lowered the speed, but I thought the audio track was long enough already. Subtitles might have been a good idea, but I honestly didn't feel like putting that much effort into it :p It's only a silly clock day flash.

Much improved!

much better animation. Looking good

Good art good sound and voices. 7/10 is about as high as I go for a stereotype action/unexplained unfinished thingy. If this quality of material went into a proper story with character, and a start-to-finish storyline I would give it at least 8/10.

I look forward to writing that WikiG page.

JTmovie responds:

Thanks man

Yeah next one I'm gonna try to do a long one with a story that goes from A to B

I hope to get that page on wikigrounds soon thatd be sweet

dissappointing

As a Dragon & Spirit I must welcome the Lugers to Newgrounds, but I hope this intro without a movie is not going to be typical of what you do. If you can put together this kind of work, why not make something good to go with it?
Story, humour, background, music, credits...
We always vote honestly, with no regard to which crew you are. Unfortunately, that is not in your favour this time. I cannot give you any stars for your entertaining intro, since, without a movie after it, it is against Toms rules for submission. Hope to see something good from you in the future.
Best Wishes from the Dragons & Spirits

LugerLeague responds:

thank you

Was in the Dragon & Spirit Alliance. My DS Halloween & Christmas Quizzes are in the 2006 Collections. I am the main organiser on Wikigrounds, though I don't spend much time either there or here these days. I am a writer in the Monthly Writing and VACcomps
