Good

Great art, OK animation. Llike that hand. Way better than just a circle for hands. I have no speakers but you had subtitles so, good!

Whilst I suppose I get the idea, its a bit of an inside joke for the rest of us. I assume this is a Clock forum. You might somehow actually explain this - a little page at the end or something, or even just in the authors notes.
If you want people to go to previous episodes first, you should have a bold bossy link at the very beginning, we are a lazy lot!

C0mBineD responds:

yeah its all inside jokes that happen on the forum and the castle is basically a visual manifestation of the forum in this series. with every forum member in it ofcourse

should really watch it with sound next time its way better.

Very good!

Such enthusiasm! Its fun. I learnt a little too- I didn't know they used tritium as a light source.

Punchy images, great talking. Some humour, made me smile a little.

Could have a link to more info, such as Wikipedia tritium or something- please add that, its so easy.

Very Good

Very good art, animation, sound and GREAT music. Nice ideas- the whole Pumpkin Planet itself is good and you expressed the yellow creature's thoughts well. I think it a good thing to have such a very different idea for Halloween.

However, I felt the whole thing too closely resembled the chase etc between Bitey of Brackenwood and the Fatsack- Perhaps entirely a coincidence, but if you go and see it you will see what I mean. The artwork is even similar in style.

I also felt that the animation for the yellow creature looked rather crude. It could have been a more interesting creature. I think it would be good if you showed us a little more of the planet.

manuelberja responds:

thanks man. well,i don't know if it was similar to those movies. i know bitey but i don't know the other one you've mentioned. i don't know if my style is also similar to those movies. i think it's different, cuz if we talk about the material, they have what i don't.they use tablet and i use mouse. maybe the story has similar ideas, but believe me i don't know about it.i didn't copy their work.
wow man, how i love this long review. ^_^

Great!

What great fun! How familiar the reasoning/tone of the drunk people.

My favourite line is "This has to stop" It is SO what the drunk say the morning after. It is followed by "I won't ever..." two days later. "I won't for a long time... two days after that, then "I don't know, maybe..." on Thursday and "Yay! What the hell, just one more time "on Friday.

All of which leads me to the conclusion that Drunk Science is going to be an EPIC SERIES of punchy, hasty comedy which will bring you fame and fortune and NG lots more viewers.

If you are looking for suggestions PM me, I will find you a pile from the Dragons & Spirits.

Drunk Science!!!

Hey!

Its quite good!

I thought no sound, stickman, crappy text = Bl@m

and then...

...it all developed- appropriate music, funny ideas; funny images; proper sound credit, and replay button.
Obviously some sound at the beginning and speach instead of text would make it much better, but you know that! I am surprised you didn't have an explosion sound, that is so simple- if you know how to add sound. Make the He into lower case, unless you think He is God.

Keep going, keep improving

basic

but slightly amusing. It is a good message. Perhaps you might do a little language tutorial, and teach us a few words of the major languages. You might do a little language documentary and tell us more about these languages and where/who speaks them.

I hope you will develop your flash skills to involve things like walking. Did you do all of it, including the singing- if so, say so in the credits.

Needs a replay button

vaguely interesting

It kinda works, though it doesn't make much sense. I assume you are just trying out things you can do. As an exercise in your abilities, I imagine you might be quite satisfied, but as something for an oursider to watch, it comes across to me as fairly pointless. I keep expecting something to happen, to follow as consequence and it doesn't.

Replay button is a Newgrounds essential and SO easy. You will want people to be encouraged to replay your work and explore it; to see the subtle things they may have missed first time, so make a big bold inviting replay button every time!

dangerteeth responds:

I was mostly just throwing things in there that were required for the assignment. I had a much more cohesive idea, but figuring out a walk cycle and using the bone tool for the first time got the better part of my time. Haven't learned the code for a replay button yet but when I do I'll be sure to include it. For now I guess F5 will have to do.
Thanks for the feedback!

Good Luck!

I can't say the idea is remotely original, neither is the overall quality anything great, but its OK; it has the basics.

As a Dragon & Spirit, I welcome y'all to Newgrounds and hope your new group prospers. If you submit worthy movies with a bit of originality, then I will support you, if not...

You really need subtitles when you use Speakonia, as by the time it is actually being heard on NG it is difficult to understand. Also, hand written words are always messy, it is so easy to use text on Flash I recommend it.

As a Wikigrounder, I will add your group to the List of Crews.

Please do try and create your own identity with the realms of Ock. It gets SOOOO samey. Who are the Croc Crowd? What do they do?

6/10

For a movie with no sound and no colour? Amazing!

Its funny and it has a great message. Art is good, so is animation.

Loved his expresssions.
Could be better with sound & Colour, but its good as it is.

Not bad

fun, sweet. Nice present. Hope she liked it!

Looked OK, sounded OK. I am not a great lover of sprite movies but this was well enough executed and I do like proper credits.

Nothing I would particularly change

Thanks for your honest opinion.

Was in the Dragon & Spirit Alliance. My DS Halloween & Christmas Quizzes are in the 2006 Collections. I was the main organiser on Wikigrounds, though I don't spend much time either there or here these days. I was a writer in the Monthly Writing and VACcom
