Disappointing

I had thought this might have some discussion and debate. It might have had something to say for itself. it was really just a slideshow, which you are advised not to submit to NG. As far as I can see, there is nothing to say that these girls are whores, nor have you given an reason to judge them or their way of life.

If you really want to get a flash anything like this through judgement, you need something to happen in it and you need to explain your self more, then put credits at the end.

-No real explanation or introduction, just a load of violent action
-hard to tell who is who. I can see that the red guys are all the same (stereotype 'badguys' apparently? but beyond that
If you want to create story, you need to create people we might care about.
-glorified stickmen
-infection theme overdone
-iritating flickering in and out of images
-Play button should be main button-much more prominant.

Very good

Yeah, THIS one just makes it to VERY good (4/5), with the nice touch of the bandages and stitches (well drawn) from last time; a quite good joke and the characterisation and sounds of swirlberry.

Keep going with the series.

I love reviews, they cheer me up. The stitches and bandages did take quite a while to draw. (I'm quite good at blood actually...) I kind of put a halt on the series and won't start it back up until I finish a major project I'm working on, that will be GOOD and actually have lots of effort put in to it.

Im doing all of them...

...when I should be in bed cos Ive got work tomorrow (today, actually, Ive just looked at the time!)

They are good movies- 3/5 and the art is good, but honestly who votes OVER 3 on them? c'mon they good, but they are hardly great.

No, seriously. Its a fun series and I'm sure the challenge of knocking up one after another is enjoyable.

they are definatley better with subtitles and I think the ones where you use a different voice for each character are better too.

Its good

Its well presented and its got a clear message. The graphics are very good and so is the animation and sound.

I found the transition from bad to worse on the planet, then from animation back to painting intriguing and impressive.

I definately feel, though, its missing info, in two senses.

1. Surely it involves something other than Flash in there- people will want to know more about how you got those effects.
2. Having grabbed people with this guilty message you haven't directed them with an option of further info. Text, stats, official quotes, links, Wikipedia... Since your flash is in the top 20 this week and in a collection its still being seen so please do something NOW.
I fet you were on the edge of comedy there, just a hint of expression and nuance. I feel a slight change in the words etc could make it really quite funny, which equals memorable.

In these two ways you would be making the most of your skills and this moment of peoples attention. Remember also that most people on NG are just flicking through and will rapidly more on to the next thing to see/vote on/laugh at etc, so those few people who are really interested in your work or your message are the most important people to cater for, both in terms of your score and your message.
I'm so glad admin suported it, in a quieter week you would have won an award with this score- bad luck!
As an active environmentalist I am pleased to see this work and this competition. Lets hope we can make everyone pull together.

[Gore Lost it]

meh. not really what we come here for.

I prtected it cos its a bit funny, although really its just the comedy dialogue, the matching with Gore is not great at all.
Needs proper credits.

This is really more you tube than NG anyway.

[MD Virginia Tech Tribute]

Protected with my heart...

...rather than my head. Its a nice sentiment etc. but there are a number of these already and there will be more. Its not of very great quality and needs tidying up:

The music needs to start soomer and more smoothly, then it needs to end more smoothly. If you go into Properties and click on the instance of sound the music is in you can make it fade in and out.
It is always difficult to decide how long to give people to read text and I am sure you have not left enough time for people to read the longer texts. You probably need to give people Next buttons for text sections as long as those.

We are tolerant of slide shows at times like these but really NG is not the place for slideshows ordinarily.

I really do appreciate your review, I don’t really know much about flash, but I am trying at least. I just decided to make a slideshow because I really don’t have the exact concept of what I wanted to do, I just knew I had to make a real tribute instead of all these fake ones running around.
