Hi, its me again!

As soon as I saw Pt 2 i jumped to it.
Its funny, its original and its British!
It still sort of scribbly, but the art is improving.

As you ended Pt 1 abruptly, so you started Pt 2 abruptly. I think if you round off Pt 1 as we discussed, then you should introduce Pt 2 a little. Bearing in mind that not everyone will have seen Pt 1, or remember it clearly, it would help.
Otherwise, its fun and funny and a delightful parody of many cartoons. I can just picture Hasbro and McDonalds making the full set of Hexgibber toys!

OK stuff

Some of the graphics were very good. I liked the 3D style angles you put in there, such as the weapons turned toward 'camera'. This is better than most 'Ocks', who use only boring side views.
(Its also better than mine!)
I would have preferred a little more detail in the background- for example as the dock on horseback rides towards camera, you could have him ride past things, so it looks more like rushing movement.
I think I prefer this speech to Speakonia.
Do more.
We were writing a sketch for a future animation, in which we put Socks and Docks for a joke- now I see that reality has caught up with us before we made it!
Regarding your Authors Note- I assure you that Dragons & Spirits vote only on merit- this works both ways- we don't vote badly because someone is an 'Ock' or in any other group, but I threw away dozens of protect points by zeroing a lot of rubbish on clockday yesterday!
Best wishes from IceDragon64 of the Dragons & Spirits

MeMB responds:

Great review. I'll work on the points you mentioned. Best regards from all the Docks.

borderline protect

If other voters are giving this four or five I can only think that they haven't seen much of this
'stickmen fighting with no backgrounds, plot or speech' before.

The fighting action is to quite a good standard although some of it seemed slow.

I will pass it because I like the fact that the figures are dropped in and show a kind of story/interaction other than just fighting; also the bizarre way they lift out from time to time is good.

If you want to persist with stickmen, try the occasional close-ups on faces and exploring glimmers of personality.

RockLou responds:

I am going to use flash from now, and I am going to make a story. This was much like training to me actually. I needed to experiment a little before I go flash.

OK. Almost Good

The scribbly stuff isn't very attractive, but it has length, story and humour. the whole idea of bringing your friends' Hexgibbers to life is entertaining.

The naration and speech is sometime hard to hear. You might put in subtitles, especially for the people of other countries, who don't understand our accent very easily.

I think I would probably have given it 6/10 3/5 if only it had ended more neatly, with credits and any other info, such as when you expect pt 2 to come out.

Please do work on it. The originality is refreshing, especially after Clock Day nausea!

Hexjibber responds:

Yes, I see what you mean about it ending rather abruptly. I'll have to sort that out. I'll have to upload part 2 tomorrow, because I am over my limit of submissions today. I'll consider some subtitles, as I know there are a lot of weird British accents in there.
Thanks for the feedback.

Nothing wrong with it...

if you like that sort of thing, but it didn't do it for me specially.

Happy Clock Day anyway

Barquis responds:

Thank you for your opinion.

Nice one

A decent Clock film with no speakonia!

Not much actual animation- no walking, for example, but some nice art.

I loved the error message!

Creatus responds:

Actually there was walking! Watch the movie again! Thanks for the 5/10! <:D

Not bad, keep working on it

Its a borderline pass as its not really finished. Please finish it to the same standard.

I cannot hear what the medic says over the loud music.

64 responds:

I know, it's really loud. Go to Options and turn on subtitles.

Looked good, but...

...there wasn't much to it and what there was i couldn't make out very well.

Stars don't appear in front of the moon.

The whole sky needs to be one LINEAR colour, it would look much better- if you don't know how to do that check it out above the Library.

Was in the Dragon & Spirit Alliance. My DS Halloween & Christmas Quizzes are in the 2006 Collections. I was the main organiser on Wikigrounds, though I don't spend much time either there or here these days. I was a writer in the Monthly Writing and VACcom
