[Square Head]

No it wasn't pointless!

short and funny- it was exactly as you described it and in a very sick way it made me laugh.
The animation was everything it needed to be and the art was OK.
The voice acting was fine and the sound was clear.
I would make the music slightly quieter, personallym although there was nothing wrong with it.

It would be nice if you put in a background- a park, a playground, whatever.

I thought there was a couple of levels of humour there- I mean, the opening question - are you...? as if there was any doubt!
and Dodgeball...as if!
then the legs waggling in the air!

I know effort & talent when I see it

Personally, I don't think this is quite my thing. I think I would have to know more about the bits and pieces it presumably parodies to fully appreciate it.
However, it has length, detail, story, random, good voice acting, buttons, good extras and detailed credits.
You do love that 3D bus turning scene, don't you?
was Arthur doing his voice acting down the phone?
The standard of animation and art is very variable, which is kinda funny, to a point, but lets down the overall score.

Language a bit strong for my personal taste, but its all good.

I note that you did it all yourself, which is very good.

I don't like the music, but thats just a personal taste thing. I liked all the images. Naturally, as a Dragon/Spirit I am biased. sorry I was a bit harsh on the other thing, I do look forward to v2.
Do, please take your time and make it the best you can.
If you care to pm me ( I will forget) when v2 is out I will give them both a detailed review and let the other Dragons & Spirits know.

alpha? I thought this is a decent flash, so I thought I would post it, and then update the file to v.2 when v.2 is done. v.2's release date has been bumped up, and hopefully I'll be able to post it today.

Very good

+entertaining
+beautiful naration, its very hard work to get it just right.
+loved the humorous observation of the spelling etc.

-I thought the penises (peni?) were unneccsary and spoilt it. The actions meant that it is NOT what I consider suitable for all audiences. If I had seen some of it, then shown it to my mum I would be a very unhappy bunny- take my point?
-The buttons were pointless, there were no stops, so I went the first one and it played all through.

Excellant start.

Yes, please! I could become a serious FRV Polaris Fan!
I would seriously say this is the first time I have ever seen Flash used to actually look real, rather than as a cartoon representation.
As it stands, this is first rate and I couldn't seriously fault it.
However, you can only get so far without going into the realms of animals/people/walking/lip sync etc. I think storywise this is about as far as it goes. Already I think not everyone will have followed the story clearly. Your real test comes next...

for what its worth, if we can help you, PM me. I am confident that the Dragons & Spirits will rally behind such an impressive start.
There is nothing wrong with the sounds you used, so far, but this movie is major league- you will have to be prepared to take the plunge and let the story dictate the images/animation/sounds in future, not your patience, as you have more or less admitted.
Top flight movies require detailed credits end to end attention to detail- if you can't do it, get help thats what we are here for!
THIS MOVIE IS WORTH IT!

Borderline- please improve

Most of the world hasn't seen the directors cut, so you probably won't get the score you are hoping for.

Needs tidying up, with a proper end, replay button and credits.

I found some of the sound hard to hear

Sit down with some of your friends and pinpoint a few simple ways to improve this, it has some skill and potential.
