[The Portal Guardian]

Looks good

I assume I must be doing something stupid, but I can't get it to work. I shoot at the incoming and I get a little score. then the screen comes up to buy things and wont go away. I reload but I can't fire and they just pour through until my HP is over.

Am I JUST stupid or is there a glitch or something that could be better explained to people who don't play games much like me?

I like the idea and I sympathise with the message in principle, although I don't know the author you are reffering to very well.

Its good, its funny

There's nothing wrong with it. I gave it the best scores I would give for such a simple game.

I like the detail in the graphics- the back ground, the variety of different patients, the variety of different messages from the nurse and the things like the shadow person in the corridor.

The sound was functional enough but wasn't anything special and the simpicity of the game- not that it is that easy to play- is reflected in the relatively low Interactivity score.

All in all good game - I enjoyed playing it!

Nice game

It looks good and works well

I think I will show some girls- they would probably like it more than stickmen violence.

I like the way you colour in one section and the other relevant parts get coloured in spite of something in the way. I liked the way the lolipop coloured into sections when you poured into one section. Unfortunately the tiny bit crossed by the hair wouldnt colour in, but generally its really well done.

Its not specially my cup of tea, but I know a good game when I see one.

Some appropriate music for each scene would give you even higher ratings- imagine something Groovy 60's for the yeah baby picture!

Best dress up yet

I've done a few dress ups and they are mostly quick scribbles. I pass them unless there is something wrong. I give them extra points if they have sound, gadgets or originality.

This has none of that but it works beautifully. When you place the pictures over they fit so well you can't see its a dress-up at all and the layers are all logical.

I couldn't figure it out, but I will assume it was just me and there isn't something wrong with it.

I looks really great and I spent quite a while trying to explore everything.

OK game- got sound now!

I reviewed AM1 and I am pleased that you have responded to the reiviews.

Since there is only one of me, I played both players- one with each hand, which is actually a real challenge, but get surprisingly easy as you play it!

the instructions are a bit wrong- it says you have to beat the computer- I was hoping that was an option for lonely old me!
Also, it says the controls are ASD and, but the diagram is right, the other controls are set as Home Delete etc, which would be very awkward for another person to reach.
Please fix these issues, make levels, make an off switch for the music and make it optional between 2 players and the computer.
Keep it up, it may be simple but you are getting somewhere.

Good Game

I like it a lot, but it really needs sound to make it to over 6/10
I liked the zoom in magnification and the realistic way it flies and bounces. Its very challenging.

Unfortunately, I am no good at it, so I couldn't get to the higher levels, but I assume the bombs etc are to the same standard.

I thought I was doing all right until I saw the high scores!

Sound was OK but a bit dull

Something to indicate the skill level you are at- a few names for levels- Baby, All thumbs, two fingers, Keyboard wizz etc. would be fun.

As far as i could follow it, it looked OK and was well laid out. You went to a lot of trouble to show us how it should look.

A bit of sound might have been good, but not important.

A few spelling etc. details, which are important in educational stuff-

Get someone else who DOESN'T know what its about to check spelling and grammer. You and I read what we expect to read.
