Very good

Theres plenty to do and its quite absorbing, tho not very pretty.

not too bad

its very rough- not a good choice of font, scruffy, spelling mistakes. You know this.
'Letting right click work' sounds silly as if it were a special effort and decision on your part rather than, couldn't be bothered to insert the proper buttons.
It would have come across better if you just pointed out
"You can... with the right click"
However, its not the same old button making tutorial and although it doesn't make me quite want to make such a game, it did at least show me that it isn't that difficult to make one.
If you care to check out my art inspiration tutorial, it will show you some ideas that may help you in presentation of something like this:

If you are serious about improving your flash, either read other tuturials in the forums, or contact me.
Not bad for a first attempt- well done in getting through judgement.

rough

hard to read and very poorly spelt. Tutorials need to give people confidence. this doesn't. If you read my tutorial, which gives advice on such things as choosing fonts, your tutorials might improve.

im Clicking Here...

...and nothing is happening?

cybus10 responds:

I apologize for the errors. This is my first game and I had some trouble with the ads because I built it in flex instead of flash so I had to make the ads work in flex.

useful!

I think this about covers it all. I think we might put a link into our info flash to here as your review of flagging is slightly more detailed than ours.

It is all readable enough, I suppose, but it could do with a bit of proof reading. Good copy editing adds confidence to the reader of textbook material.

If you would like me to go through it some time with a view to improving such things as spelling etc. let me know.

Little-Rena responds:

I try to include as much as I can, but being just one person, I miss things.

What a fun idea

Lots of fun, amusing twist to the overdone dressup idea. Nice big screen to put them on. Well drawn items and background. Good music.
Please do work on this, it could go far:
1. Music off button
2. Alternative music button (though theres nothing wrong with this music)
3. Click to another screen with alternatives eg a Clock Screen with relevant backgrounds and lots more clock refs OR a screen looking like the Flash is going into the Portal, with other flashes around it.

GroggyLobster responds:

Thanks!! The idea of the alternative background with other flashes around is perfect! (Why haven't I thought about this before...?)

Excellant!

This is a useful and inspiring Thingy. Would you like to link to our Experts Guide, which would compliment yours very well? Take a look if you don't know it-
newgrounds.com/portal/view/387389,

Then contact Highwatermark, who is the senior author. I would like to see a big 2-way link between our projects, to our mutual benefit.

Your thing has a few tiny errors, if you would like me to proof read it and send you a list, let me know.

Sispri responds:

Ah, I'll check it. Hmm, if they're grammatical, it really won't make a difference. Eh. Thanks though. :)

Good

Entertaining, though not all that original. It is a lot like Impossible quiz in style etc. I like the idea of the Myspace thing. I did get caught out a few times. Oh gee, how silly of me! toast...
Sound would be nice. I always use some music in my quizzes. You could make it longer, I suppose, but its OK

I liked it

The format was fun and so was the game. I gave up at level 14. I could not see myself ever getting past both the red and the green filter in just three shots!

Nice concept, action, sound, everything

Its OK

As a far as I can see it all works OK. The sound, action etc.

I don't want to be too negative because I knew it was one of these sprite things and they are not much my cup of tea. However, for what its worth, here goes:

It is rather difficult to see what part of this is actually new, original work. Certainly it seems generally much like many other Sonic etc submissions I have seen here. It seems more like a game than a movie, as far as I can see and its very boring fighting over and over again to work down the HP. Perhaps I am biassed by the fact that I lost! As a game I can hardly understand the appeal of this kind of thing, however, thats just me. Personally I never have understood this Japanese style of fighting where people stand there and let others give it their best shot, as in so many stories.

Obviously, there is a demand for this kind of thing and you have provided lots of episodes of it- Finishing what you started unlike so many people on NG, so well done :)
I hope you will continue to submit plenty of work here in the future if this is really the end of this story.

Was in the Dragon & Spirit Alliance. My DS Halloween & Christmas Quizzes are in the 2006 Collections. I am the main organiser on Wikigrounds, though I don't spend much time either there or here these days. I am a writer in the Monthly Writing and VACcomps
