Yep, my ears are bleeding. That must have actually been quite hard to do. ;)

Little-Rena responds:

Not really, it's a skill.

Good stuff- It totally sounds like there are a number of different people doing the voices. Welcome to the competition- may the best voice win!

Denkles responds:

I appreciate it, best of luck to you too! I'm excited to give this competition a try!

Its very clear and reasonably well paced. You clearly have the voice for professional voice work.

I personally would choose to do it slightly slower without such heavy emphasis on the words "spaceships" "spies" and "custodian". But maybe that is just me.

Quisty responds:

I have a habit to be dramatic with words. Thank you for a lovely review :)

This sounds like good work- I am sure the album is great and should be a success- as far as we can hear from this.
6/10 is as high as I would go for a teaser- it isn't that great listening as it is, just little snippets.

Good luck in Japan later this month.

Troisnyx responds:

Cheers for the review! I'll be sure to update with the Isukado and Apollo shop links when they're ready.

EDIT: The shop links are in the description and the album is out!

It is OK. Listenable. A bit thin in parts and, yes, it seems rather unfinished,, but I sympathise with you in wanting to ensure that some music gets out there.

RC75 responds:

Thanks for understanding. Usually I'd work on a song for a few days/weeks and then release it when I though it to be finished. However, lately I've been seeming to keep going back and keep changing things while still starting new projects, and it put me in a musician's block so to speak. The past two years have been like this. Though I think it's also partly due to my standards of music making going up the past two years. However, that doesn't start to show until some unreleased songs I've done. This song is about a year and a half old, and I never quite got to finishing it as I had new projects to work on, and I never truly felt it was ready to be released. I still don't, but I need to get some older, less finished stuff out to make room for my new music. Thanks for listening and reviewing!

Middle East Meets Abba!

I like it! I seriously can imagine that if Bjorn & Benny wrote a song about Turkey, this might be it! I can imagine it being a quiet background song for something mystical and/or Eastern - sand and minerets.

I wouldn't change it

Stargenx responds:

Thanks for the review! I like Turkey, both the food and the country! Glad you like it.

Like it much!

I am searching for a set of tracks for a forthcoming collab and this is the frontrunner at the moment for the sad walking down the street scene. The apt title caught my eye in the Portal and I am pleased.

Its all good, the sound, the music, the speed, the length, the detail, everything.

I only give 10 for music that blows me away- this isn't meant to do that, but it is what it is supposed to be. Spot on.

MasterCoyle responds:

Well there's nothing quite like some music for when you're sad and walking in the street. I'm glad you like it and I hope your flash goes well.

not bad

Somewhere amongst the echoes is a familiar tune, I am sure- if I am right, you should say so in the notes, preferably giving apt credit. Otherwise, its OK.

JosephVincent responds:

It's just a test of sound, not a real song.

Two reviews in one-

I felt that this was an OK version of an OK song. It is not a song I know at all. Its not specially the kind of music I would buy, but I don't mind listening to it.

I have Samara17 with me too and she had rather more to say:

She felt that the male voice sounded a little strained compared to the female voice and that it would have been better if the female had taken the lead. The music was not specially to her taste , rather a repetative sound, but with an enjoyable chorus.

GlueR responds:

Erm... Are you sure you reviewed the right song? There are no female vocals here... And a repetitive sound? I am 99% sure you're not talking about the right song. Did you mean to write this for Mezoni Trizoni? Do PM me if this is the case and if you also write a review for this one, I'll post it in this response...

weird, horror music!

I could imagine this music in The Ring or something, but its a bit too short. Not one of your better ones. Needs more too it- I like your other reviewers suggestion of adding some 'real' music/song to it so there is a pattern which this distorts.

heather-lanham responds:

mmkay. I'm working on v3 now. ^_^
