Has potential but...

I don't like the gaps/sudden changes in it. You must be able to sort this thing out. It sounded nice, then all went wrong.

heather-lanham responds:

yeah...I added a piece to it before I lost my studio...and now it sounds a bit choppy.

Hmm.

Beautiful sound, of course, but you overuse the echo. It comes into a lot of your stuff, I think too much. With good equipment you can vary it quite a bit, I don't know what you use to record your stuff. In this case, it means that I cannot hear the lyrics, which with a title like that, one would definately want to hear what its about. How about uploading a version without the echo. Its the most interesting title you've got here.

heather-lanham responds:

it's based on where I record, in a stairwell, on the seventh floor.
I'll have to upload something without echo now...

kind of creepy/funny

Wierd. Destinctive.

heather-lanham responds:

thank you. ^_^

Great sound!

This is more like it! Your beautiful voice used to its potential. This is a sound we could get lost in! Sit back and relax and let the mind wander.
Its very usable in the right context- You sound like a whole choir! I picture stained glass windows, swirling patterns of colour, mists... good stuff.

heather-lanham responds:

^_^ it was inspired by an old church song.

Short! Has potential

Icould imagine using this as a little sound effect or something. I would have to hear it without the loop, but I think it cuts off too suddenly.

Nice sound- possibly usable

This one is really the sort of generally usable, atmospheric thing that should find a home in someone's submission.

What are the little background sounds though- the creaks that sound like church doors opening!?

heather-lanham responds:

the creaks are the doors to the stairwell, someone walked in while I was recording, and it sounded cool so I left it in.

Beautiful voice

You certainly have a beautiful voice, but these recordings don't really do it justice. I am no expert, so I dont know whether its the original recording, or how it sounds via NG.

heather-lanham responds:

thank you. I'm glad you like my voice.this is an old recording useing awful equipment, so it sounds kinda...off. but I'm working on it.

Sweet!

earthdragon and I both reallylike this music. ed says he would like to have it on his walkman to send him to sleep at night!
Yes, it has the approval of the Dragons & Spirits

heather-lanham responds:

thank you. ^_^

I am using this in my next sub.

I searched the top 50 gothic for the right sound- not too modern/techno at the start- into something lightly spooky for Halloween- that lasted long enough and sounded interesting/good enough to help my score- this was it! Checkout DS Halloween Quiz due out on NG 31st Oct 2006.

I liked it enough to use it!

Pleasant, atmospheric, chillout stuff. Hear it in DS Random Quiz 1, by IceDragon64!
